This past Sunday, Kensico Dam Plaza radiated with the vibrant energy of our Hispanic and Latino communities during the 2025 Hispanic Heritage Festival. More than just a celebration, It was a powerful reminder of the strength and pride that keep us united, especially during hard times.
Amid uncertainties and a climate where fear often seeks to limit our joy and identity, our community chose hope, gathering boldly to honor our culture and each other. It was a day marked by heartfelt reunions, music echoing across the plaza, and the unmistakable flavors and colors that are the essence of our heritage.
More Than an Event: A Declaration of Who We Are
This festival went beyond entertainment; it was about reclaiming our narrative and standing together with heads held high. From passionate performances on stage to the creativity and dedication of local vendors, every detail reflected the unbreakable spirit that has helped build this nation from the ground up.

Una Celebración Inolvidable: Así Vivimos el Hispanic Heritage Festival 2025 en Kensico Dam Plaza
El domingo pasado marcó un antes y un después en la historia de nuestra comunidad hispana y latina. Kensico Dam Plaza se transformó en un mosaico de tradiciones, risas y reencuentros, donde además de festejar nuestra herencia, también resaltamos nuestra capacidad de mantenernos firmes y orgullosos ante cualquier adversidad.
En momentos donde el entorno nos desafía y las dudas a menudo quieren imponerse, elegimos celebrar juntos. Fue evidente que la fortaleza y el optimismo de nuestras familias crecen cuando nos damos la mano y compartimos lo mejor de nosotros mismos.
