WWA Summer Gathering – A Celebration of Connection and Community

On July 25, members and friends of the Westchester Women’s Agenda (WWA) gathered for the much-anticipated WWA Summer Party—a lively celebration of community, connection, and collaboration. After countless virtual meetings and advocacy sessions held online, this in-person gathering offered a wonderful opportunity for women leaders and partners to meet face-to-face, relax, and share an evening filled with conversation, laughter, and renewal.
The event brought together women representing various organizations across Westchester who work tirelessly to advance equity, inclusion, and empowerment. Among the guests were women from the United Community Center of Westchester (UCCW), who were delighted to take part in such a joyful and inspiring occasion.
UCCW participants shared their appreciation, expressing that they “had a fantastic time! Thank you for all you do!”—words that beautifully reflect the spirit of unity and gratitude that filled the evening.
Special thanks go to Carla Horton for organizing this wonderful and delicious event. Her thoughtful planning created an inviting atmosphere that not only celebrated past accomplishments but also inspired attendees to continue their vital advocacy work with renewed energy and purpose.
Moments like these highlight the strength that emerges when women come together in solidarity, supporting one another and working collectively toward a more equitable and connected community.
Fiesta de Verano de Westchester Women’s Agenda – Una celebración de conexión y comunidad
El 25 de julio, las miembros y amigas de la Westchester Women’s Agenda (WWA) se reunieron para celebrar la tan esperada Fiesta de Verano de WWA, un encuentro lleno de alegría, conexión y colaboración. Después de numerosos encuentros virtuales y sesiones de trabajo en línea, esta reunión presencial ofreció una maravillosa oportunidad para reencontrarse, compartir, relajarse y disfrutar de una tarde llena de conversaciones, risas y renovación.
El evento reunió a mujeres representantes de diversas organizaciones del condado de Westchester que trabajan incansablemente por la equidad, la inclusión y el empoderamiento. Entre las invitadas estuvieron mujeres del United Community Center of Westchester (UCCW), quienes se mostraron encantadas de participar en una ocasión tan inspiradora y especial.
