Colors for a Smoke-Free Future: UCCW’s Take Down Tobacco Day
On April 1st, UCCW hosted an inspiring event for National Take Down Tobacco Day, bringing together youth ages 10 to 17 for an afternoon of creativity, learning, and empowerment. With the powerful message of raising awareness about the dangers of tobacco and vaping, participants engaged in a Tie-Dye Workshop, turning blank shirts into vibrant statements of change.

El 1 de abril, UCCW organizó un evento inspirador en conmemoración del Día Nacional para Eliminar el Tabaco, reuniendo a jóvenes de 10 a 17 años en una tarde de creatividad, aprendizaje y empoderamiento. Con el mensaje claro de concienciar sobre los peligros del tabaco y el vapeo, los participantes disfrutaron de un taller de Tie-Dye, convirtiendo camisetas blancas en poderosas declaraciones de cambio.
Empoderando a la Juventud a Través de la Creatividad
Este evento no solo se trató de hacer arte, sino de hacer la diferencia. Cada participante tuvo la oportunidad de aprender sobre el impacto del tabaco y el vapeo en su salud, su familia y su comunidad.
