The United Community Center of Westchester, Inc. (UCCW) is dedicated to providing essential resources to individuals facing challenging situations. Our primary focus is on delivering health care, education, food, safe shelter, and emergency assistance to those who need it most.
Our team meticulously evaluates each case, taking the time to understand the unique circumstances of every client. This thorough assessment allows us to identify the specific resources and services they are entitled to. Whether they require medical care, access to educational programs, nutritious food, safe shelter, or emergency assistance, we work diligently to connect our clients with the most appropriate options for their needs.
We recognize that addressing these needs requires collaboration, so we establish strong partnerships with external agencies to offer a comprehensive support system. We work closely with hospitals, county offices, government agencies, law enforcement, housing authorities, and other community organizations to ensure our clients receive the full range of assistance they require.
UCCW recognizes the importance of partnering with external agencies, as it enables us to maximize our resources and create a more significant impact on the community. Through collaboration and knowledge-sharing, we can address needs more efficiently and effectively.
Caring for our community is at the core of our mission. We work closely with Health Insurance Plans to ensure that everyone has access to quality health coverage and partner with the local Department of Social Services to help clients obtain Medicaid when urgent needs arise.
Through these strategic partnerships, we can significantly enhance our ability to assist people more effectively and provide them with access to a wide range of services and resources.
Our collaboration with hospitals and clinics ensures that individuals in need of medical care receive the appropriate treatment. We also work closely with county offices and government agencies to connect our clients with the programs and benefits they are eligible for. Additionally, our cooperation with law enforcement helps us create a safe and secure environment for those seeking shelter and emergency assistance.
